Itinerary

Day 1

WELCOME + ANTHROPOLOGY CLASS

Welcome to sunny El Salvador! Today we begin an educational adventure of a lifetime!

Straight out arrivals your transfer will be waiting to shuttle you to your accommodation for the week! Enjoy the drive through the lush, green forests of El Salvador to our beachside mansion where you’ll meet your local Salvadoran team that will be with you for your entire stay!

Our first activity is an ANTHROPOLOGY INTRODUCTION to get you acquainted to the people around you and learn who exactly they are. 

Being Salvadoran doesn’t have one specific “look,” as the population encompasses many ethnic groups. An anthropologist walks you through the PEOPLE OF EL SALVADOR from its indigenous ancestry, Spanish colonization, Asian and African forced labor migrations, and Arab settlements—and how each group defines what it means to be Salvadoran.

Day 2

WHALES, BEACH CLUB + KESI’S BIRTHDAY BASH

You’re lucky to be in town during this time of year because it’s WHALE SEASON! Whales migrate south from everywhere to mate in the warm waters of El Salvador. We’ll head out on a boat to see if we can catch a sighting of these majestic giants along with dolphins, turtles and whatever else Mother Nature has in store of us.

Then it’s off to a BEACH CLUB! Relax sipping exotic cocktails as we toast to KESI’S BIRTHDAY while enjoying the gorgeous view of the ocean beyond the infinity pool. We’ve got all the ingredients for a memorable birthday party: Music, Dancing, Passion Fruit Margaritas…all that’s missing is YOU!

Day 3

LABYRINTH + THERMAL BATHS

Hope you’re not too hungover from the night before because today we’re headed out to the largest LABYRINTH in Central America! Find your way through the maze or take a bicycle on a zipline above it! Either way, the labyrinth is full of fun and games for the morning.

After we’ll head out to the NATURAL THERMAL BATHS featuring over 20 natural pools of different temperatures. Create your personal spa day dipping your body into thermal MUD as you do a healing mud bath in the sauna!

Day 4

CONCHAGUA + VIOLENCE PREVENTION

It’s GLAMPING DAY! We’re headed out to the edge of the country where we’ll ride a military vehicle up to the summit of a volcano and camp overnight! Don’t worry your tents are already set up complete with a sleeping bag and mattress. We’ll arrive just in time for sunset to listen to the birds nest for the night and watch the sun drop below the islands of El Salvador where in the horizon you can see Nicaragua and Honduras as well. 

As night falls, you’ll be met with an expert in VIOLENCE PREVENTION who will tell you the story of how El Salvador went from being the homicide capital of the world to safest country in the Western Hemisphere!

Day 5

FREE DAY + SURF CLASS

We’re your personal alarm clocks this morning as we ensure you don’t miss the SUNRISE OVER THE ISLANDS OF EL SALVADOR. We’ll spend some time looking down upon the mist of clouds and reflect on this amazing trip before heading head back to the beach for a SUNSET SURF CLASS!

Meet your instructors and head out into the waters of El Salvador famous for its surfing! Don’t worry, you do not need to know how to swim to do this.

Day 6

FAREWELL!

We never say goodbye. For us, this is see you soon! Shuttles will be waiting to take you to the airport for your flights out.
