We begin our journey with a PIKAI CLEANSE. This is a Hawaiian ceremony customary to ward off any imbalanced energies that are lingering on ourselves. This cleanse will entail prayer, protocol, and intention setting where we cleanse the energies while in the ocean. Participants will have to submerge their bodies (shallow water) into the ocean.

Next you’ll go through HAWAI’I ORIENTATION. Kumu Elijah will walk us through an orientation of PLACE–where you are and a short summary of the history of the Hawaiian islands, LANGUAGE–in Hawai’i we switch between 3 different languages and you will be notified of each, and WHO WE ARE–the participants get to know each other and the purpose for this retreat.
