Day Tour: Conchagua & Lencan Spirituality

$1,199.00

Conchagua is a Lencan word given by the indigenous peoples of the area to describe the narrow valley that reaches the gulf. Here, you have the chance to see the incredible views at sunset and sunrise as you watch the colors of the sky change in the distance to the back drop of the islands of El Salvador.

Camp on the edge of the mountain at the borders of Nicaragua and Honduras and listen to the story of the goddess who protects this mountain. You’ll be taken to a small pyramid where you’ll learn about the culture who occupied this space, the spirituality of Lencan peoples, how the owner of the mountain came to find this place, and if you’re lucky, you may be offered a spiritual cleansing.

Food is not included in this tour, however, we have designated stops for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
